Three

Whew! I know it’s been a long, long time since I actually posted something, but life has been uber-busy. Apologies for the blog neglect.

But since I’ve last posted, I have been doing a few blog designs in my spare time, believe it or not. I just didn’t get around to posting them.

It seems like scrapbooking-themed designs have basically gone by the way-side. *sad  panda* But here are 3 modern designs I’ve done & I am thrilled to pieces with the final outcomes.

Hope you enjoy them:

Simple Little Home

Simple Little Home

The thing about doing blog design on the side while working full-time is that it takes me forever to find the extra time to actually *blog* about the designs I create. Which is exactly what happened with my latest. Simple Little Home’s makeover has been live for nearly a month now, and I’m just getting around to writing the post about it. My bad.

Anyhoo, Emily wanted to create a clean, organized space on her corner of the Internet, Simple Little Home, which is where I came in. Using some graphics that she selected from iStockphoto.com, I helped her to create a one-of-a-kind header with logo. We also worked together to get her blog’s navigation organized into a clear drop-down menu, so things are much, much easier to find. Everything is so … simple to locate now. Which is just perfect for her blog vibe → simple little website about a simple little home. Funny how that works out. And let’s not forget the social media icons I added into her header, which cleared up lots of space for other widgets on her sidebar. Not only that, but her Facebook page is now branded to match.

Oh, and we also added an author profile box at the top of her left sidebar, which makes it stand out from the rest of the page. Love it! I think every blogger needs to have an author profile box → it’s the growing trend, you know.

Thanks to Emily for allowing me to help her organize her space! It’s actually a form of therapy for my OCD everything-needs-its-own-place tendencies. :)

The Lis Family

The Lis Family

This past week has been particularly busy for me, and I’ve been meaning to blog about two different blogger designs I installed last week. This first one is my latest digital scrapbooking design. Without further ado → The Lis Family. Allison selected a digital scrapbooking kit, as well as the Rainbow Package & a 2-column template, to make over her blog. Have I mentioned I love doing digital scrapbooking designs? Yes, I’m sure I have. Anyhoo, pop on over to Allison’s blog and say a quick hello, and then jump on the wait list yourself. It’s currently wide-open, (which doesn’t happen often these days), and that means I can start right away.

Laundry Room Confessions

Hi, y’all! I’m back with a new design reveal, and no, I’m not talking about my own (although, yes, I’ve redesigned that one too). Lindsay just started her new blog, Laundry Room Confessions, and what better way to begin a web presence than to have a professional design from the get-go. Lindsay ordered the Daylight Package, and she selected a kit from Chelle’s Creations via Scrap Orchard, which I used to create her one-of-a-kind layout. And I’m truly loving the final outcome! Go take a peek, and then come back here & sign up for a redesign of your very own. Only a couple peeps right now on my wait list, so you too can have an affordable blog makeover in just a few short weeks!

Thanks for stopping by! :)

My {Kind of} Life

My {Kind of} Life

Marisa from My {Kind of} Life has recently debuted a new scrapbooking look for her blog. She selected the Bright Package along with a kit from Tracie Stroud, and I designed a clean, organized template for her site in a matter of days. I really love what the Bright Package offers -  a great simple package that gives your blog a complete makeover minus the high price tag. Cuz, really, you don’t really need all that fancy-schmancy “clutter” for a blog – it can be distracting for your readers. Keep it simple. Keep it clean. And keep it affordable. That’s my motto.

Thanks for stopping by. :)
