Welcome to Bright Sunshine Designs. I’m Mary, a full-time office drone, part-time student, and a freelance graphic artist with an unusual passion for web design code. It all started when I was looking to redesign my personal blog & saw the prices that blog designers were charging. In an effort to save my money (and also to save them the aggravation of dealing with a perfectionist who changes her mind often), I decided to learn html coding myself. It took some time researching the basics, but with the help of the good ol’ Google search box and, later, a few web design & graphics classes at my local community college, here I am today, offering my services to you.
I am very much a believer in do-it-yourself design, so I’ve written a few simple tutorials for you to spruce up your Blogger blog on your own – for free! Imagine that! And if I can offer you one bit of important advice, it is this: Please claim your feed on Feedburner. Pretty please. Like, right now. And also, please read the entire tutorial and follow all the steps. Some bloggers stop short half-way through the post and never finish the process of redirecting their claimed feed to their blogs. And I have no idea why they do that – it boggles my mind, really.
With that said, if you are looking for a more customized design than the one you have now & the thought of doing it yourself scares the bejeezus out of you, I invite you to let me help you, for I am not afraid of html whatsoever. I can do scrapbooking themes, along with modern themes. I can design a complete custom look for your Blogspot blog and can also make custom WordPress headers and buttons. Also, in the very near future, I will be offering self-hosted WordPress designs as well, so check back soon.
And if that’s not enough, I take custom print requests, including, but not limited to, party invites & candy bar wrappers, and I also design custom adoption family profiles. Oh yes, I also make quick & painless premade blogger templates, too. All of these projects keep me very busy, but it’s what I truly love to do.
Just recently, I’ve begun collaborating with Nuttier Designs, who designs custom illustrations & logos, as well as all your other graphic needs. Together we can put together the amazing customized blog design of your dreams.
